The Serbian Tricolor Hound is a scenthound that originated in what was Yugoslavia. They often work in packs, hunting both large and small game such as boar, deer, fox, and hare. They are almost exclusively kept in the hands of hunters and little seen outside their homeland.

History of the Serbian Tricolor Hound
The Serbian Tricolor Hound is one of several scenthounds that are spread throughout the Balkans. Originally known as the Yugoslavian Tricolor Hound, the breed’s name was changed to Serbian Tricolor Hound after Yugoslavia was dissolved as it was mostly found in Serbia.
