History of the Polish Hound
Although the Polish Hound has existed in Poland for centuries, no records exist regarding its ancestry. It does share a resemblance with the St. Hubert Hound (ancestor to the Bloodhound), which hailed from the Ardennes. Almost destroyed after WWII, the breed survived in remote districts and was rebuilt.
